Rusheen Riding Centre is a family run horse back riding centre, approved by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments, set in gently rolling pastureland at Castlecreevy near Galway city.

Having moved to the lush countryside of Castlecreevy, Headford Road; Rusheen Riding Centre offers a truly relaxing horseback experience, yet an unforgetably exciting way of seeing the countryside, while enjoying lots of fresh air, exercise and fun!!

The attractive centre stables 22 horses of various sizes and standards and caters for most requirements. Trail rides for one or two hours through this scenic and beautiful region can be arranged.

Helen Joyce and her superb staff are excellent instructors, and young teenagers are particularly encouraged to avail of the facility.

According to the experts, horseriding is perfect for getting rid of inner thigh flab, toning the whole body and burning up calories. Just getting out on a horse is a great way to beat stress and improve your mood.
